Your steps, your choice.

Hive Steps is a community step tracker operated by Hive Empire. Updated October 7, 2026.

What we keep

Your Discord account ID and display name, timezone, daily goal, daily step totals, upload timestamps, connection status, and challenge invitations, participants, dates and results. Discord sign-in asks for your basic identity only. We do not request your email, messages, or server list, and we do not retain Discord access tokens.

What your phone sends

With your permission, Health Auto Export sends daily Step Count summaries to this website. Only step totals and their dates are saved. Other health metrics in a request are ignored, and raw export files are not stored. Your sync key permits uploads only and is stored as a hash on our server. The setup link passes that key to Health Auto Export on your device.

Who can see it

Every Hive Steps account automatically joins the leaderboards. Your Discord identity and daily, weekly, monthly and all-time step totals are displayed to signed-in website users and people with access to the Hive Empire Discord leaderboard forum. There is no leaderboard opt-out. Your connection key and detailed account settings are not shared. The site operator can access stored records for support and maintenance. Cloudflare hosts the website and database; Discord handles sign-in. Health Auto Export is a separate third-party app with its own terms and pricing.

Head-to-head challenge details are visible to their participants. Anyone holding an open invitation link can preview and accept it while it is pending. Invitations addressed to a specific walker can only be viewed and accepted by that walker and their challenger.

Your controls

Connect steps → Manage connection lets you revoke upload access. You can also revoke Health permissions on your iPhone. Disconnecting does not erase historical totals. To request deletion of your account and step data, contact the Hive Empire administrator through the Discord community where you received this site. Data is retained while your account remains active unless you request deletion.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for sign-in and login security. There are no advertising trackers or analytics scripts. The website does not store your sync key in local storage.

A friendly competition

Uploads are user-controlled and cannot prove that every step was physically taken. Totals are for community fun, not medical advice or prize verification.
